Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Entry-Level Data Entry Clerk to join our team, responsible for capturing and updating data in our company's databases. As a Data Entry Clerk, you will be the first point of contact for employees and customers, collecting information and ensuring that our databases are current and accurate. You will work closely with our team to identify and correct errors, and provide administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our data entry function.

Key Responsibilities

* Collect information and capture data promptly to ensure the business's databases are current and accurately reflect its developments, updates, and transactions

  • Perform data entry in EMR, preparing information for data entry and ensuring timely data entry and file management
  • Provide entry-level administrative support to the data entry function, including performing routine clerical and data entry functions
  • Operate data entry devices to perform a variety of keypunching data entry and verification duties
  • Review and verify data prior to entry, performing daily audits and data entry corrections
  • Establish data entry requirements for each client, following data program techniques and maintaining data entry requirements
  • Train new data entry employees on computer systems and work with dealers to ensure data entry is accurate and complete
  • Perform high-volume data entry work, capturing data into relevant databases in a timely and accurate manner

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred

  • 0-2 years of experience in data entry or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees and customers
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to customer service and data accuracy

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with EMR systems and data entry software

  • Knowledge of data program techniques and data entry requirements
  • Certification in data entry or a related field
  • Experience working in a remote environment
