The Role

As an Area Manager at blithequark, you will be responsible for leading a team of hourly workforce and driving business results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You will be the face of blithequark in your area, and your leadership and customer service skills will be essential in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities and Job Elements

* Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce to achieve exceptional customer service and business results

• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises to ensure seamless operations and high customer satisfaction
• Collaborate with all support teams, including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources, to develop plans to meet business objectives
• Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach to perform tasks safely and efficiently
• Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Work in an environment where the noise level varies and can be loud
• Work in an environment that is subject to variable temperatures and weather (delivery stations include outside loading departments)
• Continuously climb and descend stairs (applies to sites with stairs)

Location and Work Environment

We are currently hiring for an Area Manager role in Orlando, FL, USA. As an Area Manager, you will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, where you will be responsible for leading a team of hourly workforce and driving business results. You will work in a warehouse environment, where you will be exposed to variable temperatures and weather conditions.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $20 to $28 per hour, based on qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including:

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required

• 1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing role or leadership position
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
• Ability to stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts
• Ability to work in an environment where the noise level varies and can be loud
• Ability to work in an environment that is subject to variable temperatures and weather conditions
• Ability to continuously climb and descend stairs (applies to sites with stairs)

Preferred Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field

• 2-3 years of experience in a customer-facing role or leadership position
• Experience working in a warehouse or distribution environment
• Experience working with hourly workforce
• Experience with safety, quality, and productivity metrics
• Experience with customer delivery promises and service level agreements
