Experienced Full Stack Pharmacy Technician – Order Entry and Customer Service Specialist for Long-Term Care Pharmacy Operations

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our team as an Order Entry Pharmacy Technician, where you will play a crucial role in our pharmacy operations. About the Role: As an Order Entry Pharmacy Technician with Remedi SeniorCare, you will be responsible for swiftly and accurately entering prescriptions into our Remedi SeniorCare Framework/DocuTrack pharmacy system. You will also communicate with customers over the phone, providing quick and courteous responses to their needs. Under the guidance of a pharmacist and in compliance with State law, Order Entry Pharmacy Technicians will be responsible for:
- Efficient order entry and follow-up
- Troubleshooting prescription/patient data entry discrepancies
- Ensuring accurate and timely prescription/patient information input
- Collaborating with Order Entry leadership to meet department goals
- Providing exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders
Responsibilities: As an Order Entry Pharmacy Technician, your key responsibilities will include:
- Entering prescriptions into our Remedi SeniorCare Framework/DocuTrack pharmacy system
- Communicating with customers over the phone, providing quick and courteous responses to their needs
- Troubleshooting prescription/patient data entry discrepancies
- Ensuring accurate and timely prescription/patient information input
- Collaborating with Order Entry leadership to meet department goals
- Providing exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Current national/state pharmacy certification and State Board of Pharmacy registration
- Strong computer skills
- Thorough understanding of medical terminology and drug knowledge
- Math and analytical skills, with a focus on calculations
- Minimum of two (2) years working in a long-term care pharmacy preferred
- Framework experience is preferred

Compensation and Benefits: We offer a competitive salary of $18.00 - $21.00 per hour, depending on experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
