Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll have the opportunity to:

• Greet customers with a smile and provide personalized service to ensure a seamless shopping experience
• Run the register, cashier, and make purchase suggestions to help customers find the perfect products
• Collaborate with our food program team to provide exceptional service and drive sales
• Work with a fun, energetic team to maintain our high standards for store appearance and provide fast and friendly service to our customers
• Provide regular and predictable onsite attendance to ensure our customers receive the best possible experience
• Interact with many customers daily, building strong relationships and driving sales through excellent customer care

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
• A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a commitment to exceeding customer expectations
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with ease
• A high school diploma or equivalent, with a strong foundation in math and basic computer skills
• Retail and customer service experience, with a proven track record of driving sales and delivering exceptional results

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be a plus:

• Sales associate or cashiering experience, with a strong understanding of retail operations and customer service principles
• A motivation to advance in your career, with a willingness to learn and grow with our organization
• A high school diploma or equivalent, with a strong foundation in math and basic computer skills

Physical Requirements

As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll need to be able to:

• Stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours, with the ability to lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead up to 30 minutes in a shift
• Occasionally lift and/or carry up to 60 pounds from ground to waist level, with the ability to push/pull with arms up to a force of 20 pounds
• Bend at the waist with some twisting up to one hour a shift, with the ability to grasp, reach, and manipulate objects with hands
• Climb a ladder to store and retrieve materials or place and remove signs, with a strong emphasis on safety and attention to detail
