Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Inbound Energy Customer Care Specialist to join our remote team. As a key point of contact for our customers, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service, resolving customer inquiries and complaints, and driving customer retention. Responsibilities

As an Inbound Energy Customer Care Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Answering phone calls from customers in a professional and courteous manner, responding to their inquiries and complaints, and resolving issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Focusing on customer retention through proactive communication, empathy, and problem-solving.
  • Providing customers with clear and concise information about our service standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Identifying and escalating priority issues to high-level management, ensuring prompt resolution and minimizing customer dissatisfaction.
  • Routing inbound calls to the appropriate resources, ensuring seamless handoffs and minimizing wait times.
  • Following up on complicated customer calls, providing additional support and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Completing call notes and call reports as necessary, updating them in our CRM system to ensure accurate tracking and analysis.
  • Obtaining and evaluating relevant data to properly handle and document customer complaints and inquiries.
  • Recording details of comments, inquiries, complaints, and actions taken, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by management, contributing to the overall success of the team.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Bilingual skills (a plus)
  • Some sales and customer service experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Excellent communication skills, including verbal and written communication with proper grammar and tone
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Some experience with MS Excel (a plus)
  • Ability to react effectively and calmly in escalated situations, maintaining a positive attitude and composure under pressure
