Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst to join our team in Nashville, USA. As a key member of our business intelligence and data science team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing data-driven solutions to drive business growth and improvement. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze data, and provide actionable insights to inform business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and develop data models, databases, and data visualizations to support business intelligence and data science initiatives
- Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations, and develop predictive models to inform business decisions
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, develop data-driven solutions, and communicate results to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Develop and maintain data pipelines, ETL processes, and data quality controls to ensure data accuracy and integrity
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data science and analytics, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement
- Mentor and guide junior team members to develop their skills and expertise
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and other stakeholders
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, such as computer science, mathematics, statistics, or operations research
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or data science, with a strong focus on data-driven decision making
- Proficiency in data analysis software and applications, including Microsoft Power BI, Alteryx, Python, and R
- Strong understanding of data modeling, database design, and data visualization principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and develop actionable insights
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with SAFE Spry, TSQL/PLSQL, and other data analysis tools and technologies
- Familiarity with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
- Experience with machine learning and predictive modeling techniques
- Strong understanding of data governance and data quality principles
- Experience with data automation and scripting languages, such as Python or R
