Job Summary

As a Part Time/Casual Customer Service & Sales Assistant at blithequark, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences, driving sales, and contributing to the success of our retail operations. You will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, interacting with customers, processing transactions, and maintaining a high level of product knowledge. Responsibilities

* Greet and welcome customers into the department, demonstrating a warm and friendly demeanor

• Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions, and offering product recommendations
• Operate cash registers, process transactions, and maintain a high level of accuracy
• Maintain a high level of product knowledge, staying up-to-date on new products and promotions
• Assist with visual merchandising, including setting up seasonal displays and maintaining the appearance of the sales floor
• Support inventory management, including receiving and processing incoming merchandise and assisting with special orders
• Provide excellent communication and problem-solving skills to resolve customer complaints and concerns
• Work successfully as part of a team, demonstrating a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt

Qualifications

* Pleasant personality and excellent customer service skills

• Moderate computer/systems competency and ability to learn new systems quickly
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to occasionally climb ladders and lift up to 50 pounds as needed
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and work in a fast-paced environment
• Prior retail sales experience is helpful but not required
