Job Summary

As a Remote Healthcare Billing and Customer Service Representative, you will work as an extended business office representative on behalf of our clients, providing exceptional customer service and support to patients and their families. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Using empathy and excellent communication skills to help patients and their families understand complex medical bills and resolve account balances
  • Providing outstanding customer service and collaborating with patients to find affordable payment solutions
  • Accurately documenting all calls and follow-ups in our software systems
  • Supporting your fellow team members with consistent attendance, excellent work ethic, and a caring team focus
  • Continuously improving your skills and knowledge through supportive coaching, feedback, and ongoing training

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide empathetic and excellent customer service to patients and their families over the phone

  • Explain complex medical bills and resolve account balances in a clear and concise manner
  • Collaborate with patients to find affordable payment solutions and take payments by phone
  • Accurately document all calls and follow-ups in our software systems
  • Support your fellow team members with consistent attendance, excellent work ethic, and a caring team focus
  • Continuously improve your skills and knowledge through supportive coaching, feedback, and ongoing training

Essential Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred

  • 1-2 years of experience in customer service, healthcare, or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in software applications
