Job Summary

As a Remote Customer Service Representative, you'll play a critical role in delivering an exceptional customer experience and helping us achieve our mission of making health insurance simple. You'll be responsible for providing technical support, managing customer accounts, and interpreting and following defined procedures and policies. Key Responsibilities

* Inbound and outbound calls to deliver the highest level of customer service experience consistently

  • Manage customer accounts and provide technical support
  • Application data entry and online chat inquiries as assigned
  • Interpret and follow defined procedures and policies
  • Creative problem-solving skills to resolve complex customer issues
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing projects and updates
  • Time and task management (multitasking and task prioritization)
  • Extensive self-study, training, and testing are required; eligibility to proceed through training and certifications is dependent upon passing required exams
  • Adhere to regulated guidelines for communications via all channels

Essential Qualifications

* Moderate to advanced computer skills

  • High level of comfort learning new technology
  • High level of professionalism
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable working from home
  • Self-motivated and success-driven

Preferred Experience

* Previous experience in customer support or technical support role

  • Previous experience with Group and/or Individual health insurance, or the Affordable Care Act
  • Previous experience in a Call Center
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
  • Spanish Bilingual, a plus

Compensation and Benefits

* Base pay: $14.50 per hour

  • Enhanced rate: $16.00 per hour contingent on weekly attendance and performance
  • Spanish Bilingual base pay: $15.50 per hour
  • Spanish Bilingual enhanced rate: $17.00 per hour contingent on weekly attendance and performance
  • Comprehensive benefits package, including 401K match and Individual Coverage HRA (ICHRA)
