Responsibilities

As a Remote Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Answering inbound calls from Aetna Medicaid members and providers, responding to inquiries regarding benefits, eligibility, services, prior authorization requirements, extra benefits, and programs
  • Providing timely and accurate solutions to complex issues, ensuring a positive experience for our members and providers
  • Utilizing high-speed internet connectivity with secure service via ethernet cable, as Wi-Fi is not permitted
  • Meeting performance standards, attendance requirements, and call quality goals
  • Collaborating with colleagues to resolve issues and provide exceptional customer service
  • Participating in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to communicate effectively with members and providers orally and in written form
  • Strong customer service skills, with a focus on empathy, active listening, and problem-solving
  • Ability to work from home and prove self-sufficiency
  • Reliable high-speed internet connectivity with secure service via ethernet cable
  • Ability to commute to the office in Richmond, VA when unable to work from home due to prolonged technical problems

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working remotely in a call center setting

  • Experience with Medicaid and Medicare
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare benefits and services
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package, including:

  • $17.00 - $27.90 per hour (base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary)
