Job Summary
As a Data Analyst at blithequark, you will be responsible for applying advanced analytical techniques to large-scale, high-dimensional data to inform business decisions and drive growth. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas of improvement, develop data-driven solutions, and measure the impact of our content portfolio. Key Responsibilities
* Apply advanced analytical techniques (data mining, data visualization, statistical analysis, AI) to large-scale, high-dimensional data to inform business decisions and drive growth
- Analyze client behavior (e.g., viewing patterns, engagement metrics) to identify untapped client needs and undiscovered content opportunities
- Develop predictive models to forecast content engagement and inform procurement decisions
- Streamline our content launch and episode release process to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Test marketing strategies to optimize engagement and retention
- Ideate and develop new metrics and KPIs to measure content performance and inform strategic decisions
- Provide ad-hoc analysis support to partners to drive business growth
- Effectively communicate complex data insights through compelling data storytelling across the organization
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in data analysis, with a focus on statistical analysis and AI methods
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with R and Python programming languages
- Experience with machine learning algorithms, including decision trees, regression, and clustering
- Proven ability to work independently and apply creative problem-solving skills to complex challenges
- Excellent data storytelling skills through verbal, written, and visual communication
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms, such as AWS or Google Cloud
- Strong understanding of media and entertainment industry trends and challenges
