Responsibilities
As a Part-Time/Coverage Sleep Coach, you'll play a vital role in our team's success. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing inbound and outbound messages for assigned members and coverage members (up to 20 hours per week, with additional opportunities as needed)
- Leveraging digital sleep science and our coaching platform to make strategic, effective coaching decisions while staying within the coaching scope of practice
- Responding to all inbound messages within established SLAs
- Providing a coaching experience that uses a range of attributes and techniques, including:
+ Active listening + Tone + Empathy + Reflection + Goal setting + Motivational interviewing + Personalization + Sleep science referencing + Skills based in CBT-I
- Partnering with members to work towards healthy lifestyle changes while building self-awareness and improving sleep health behavior for sustainable change
- Providing members with relevant sleep help tools and actionable vetted resources
- Collaborating with the coaching team and other departments to continuously improve our member experience
- Providing coaching coverage for members of the Coaching Team as needed
- Analyzing member data and behavior to provide an effective coaching experience
- Objectively assessing our coaching platform/approaches and relaying your insights and feedback to the Product and Engagement Teams
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A Bachelor's Degree
- Coaching certification
- At least 1 year of text-based coaching experience (NBHWC preferred) or Sleep Science knowledge
- The ability to manage a caseload of 100+ people
- Experience working in a fast-paced remote environment
