Job Title: Sales Assistant II

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Sales Assistant II to join our team remotely. This role focuses on driving renewal and growth of Build and Azure solutions within the education sector, specifically supporting K12 through community colleges. You will be responsible for managing renewals, supporting cloud migration and modernization, and driving signal-based acquisition for educational customers.

Responsibilities

  • Engage customers to understand their business needs and identify solutions that deliver the best licensing model.
  • Leverage agreement renewals to review customer infrastructure and identify the best cloud and licensing solutions.
  • Collaborate with LSP partners to ensure renewals are closed on time, on or before agreement expiration.
  • Plan renewals starting at T-13 months and focus on upsell and cross-sell at T-12 months.
  • Showcase cloud technology, demonstrating how customers can maximize ROI and identifying the best licensing model.
  • Manage customer acquisition through digital signals from the Global Demand Center.
  • Ensure compliance with Rules of Engagement, SLA, and reporting requirements.
  • Maintain data hygiene in all required tools and trackers.
  • Coordinate stakeholders to drive renewal strategy and optimize upsell/cross-sell opportunities.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or equivalent training required.
  • 2+ years of related sales skills and experience.
  • 3+ years of solid people, customer service, and communication skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Verbal and written communication skills, negotiation skills, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Basic knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services.

Work Environment

This is a remote position with a preference for candidates in CST or EST time zones. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week. The supplier will provide PC, mouse, and headset. This role offers a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience with Microsoft technologies. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Houston, Texas. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
