Job Summary
We are seeking experienced and compassionate tutors to join our team of clinicians at Lindamood-Bell Learning Center in Pacific Palisades, CA. As a tutor, you will play a vital role in implementing our proprietary programs and providing one-to-one and small group instruction to students of all ages. Key Responsibilities
As a tutor at Lindamood-Bell Learning Center, you will be responsible for:
- Implementing specific lesson plans under the direction of Learning Center leadership
- Providing one-to-one and small group instruction, in-person or online, to students of all ages
- Facilitating the use of our proprietary curriculum for Lindamood-Bell Academy students
- Interacting positively and professionally with clients and staff to provide a safe and positive learning environment
- Managing client records electronically using a computer
- Maintaining accurate records of student progress and performance
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Possess a Bachelor's degree (Associate's degree, Early Childhood Education certificate, or actively pursuing a degree is acceptable)
- Have prior teaching experience (not required but preferred)
- Demonstrate excellent reading, spelling, and comprehension skills
- Possess basic computer skills and the ability to type notes about student performance while leading engaging sessions
- Be available to work Monday through Friday, with flexibility to accommodate varying schedules
- Be willing to undergo paid training in our proprietary programs
