About the Position
We are seeking a Homeroom Teacher to teach 5th grade for the first trimester and kindergarten for the second trimester. As a Homeroom Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes academic excellence and social growth. You will work closely with our students, parents, and staff to ensure that every student receives the support and resources they need to succeed.
Key Responsibilities
* Create and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners
- Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes academic excellence and social growth
- Communicate regularly with parents and staff to ensure that every student receives the support and resources they need to succeed
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet the needs of individual students
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives and programs
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in education
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Professional Educator License (PEL) with endorsement in K-9 Elementary Education
- 2+ years of teaching experience in a similar setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in Education or related field
- Experience teaching in a remote or online setting
- Familiarity with curriculum design and implementation
- Experience working with diverse student populations
- Strong technology skills, including proficiency in online learning platforms and educational software
