Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional support to our customers, including:

  • Issue Resolution: Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner, using empathy and problem-solving skills to find solutions.
  • Ticketing and Rebooking: Issue, reissue, and discount traveler tickets, as well as book, ticket, and confirm flight reservations.
  • Traveler Registration: Perform traveler registration and front seat tasks, including correcting oversold seat tasks and issuing updates.
  • Voucher and Accommodation Coordination: Issue vouchers or coordinate with vendors for traveler accommodations, meals, and transportation.
  • Flight Loading and Security: Perform traveler loading, including ticket lift or ticket lift/confirmation, and work door peruser/scanner and related tasks.
  • Boarding and Flight Door Declarations: Make boarding and flight door declarations, and convey domestic/global flight records.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, including answering and assisting during security and crisis situations.

Requirements

To succeed as a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll need:

  • Education: A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Language Skills: Bilingual language skills may be required in certain areas.
  • Driver's License: A valid driver's license may be required, depending on the location.
  • Background Check: A successful background check, including FAA criminal history verification, may be required.
  • Certifications: Completion of a pre-employment drug screen, extensive personal investigation, or fingerprinting may be required.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Experience: Previous experience in customer service, travel, or a related field.
  • Software Skills: Working knowledge of Saber or other travel service software.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
