Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative with Blithequark, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Issue resolution: Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Ticketing and rebooking: Issue, reissue, and discount traveler tickets, as well as book, ticket, and confirm flight reservations.
  • Traveler registration and boarding: Perform traveler registration and front seat tasks, correct oversold seat tasks, and issue updates.
  • Voucher and accommodation coordination: Issue vouchers or coordinate with vendors for traveler accommodations, meals, and transportation.
  • Flight loading and departure: Perform traveler loading, including ticket lift or ticket lift/confirmation, and work jetways/spans for boarding and deplaning travelers.
  • Client assistance: Provide quality customer service in an expert manner and according to Blithequark's standards.
  • Security and crisis management: Answer and assist during security and crisis situations, and furnish connecting travelers with gate information.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful as a Customer Service Representative with Blithequark, you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree: A bachelor's degree in any field is required.
  • Bilingual language skills: Bilingual language skills are required in certain areas.
  • Valid driver's license: A valid driver's license is required, as well as the ability to obtain proper airport power or US Customs security identifications, if relevant.
  • Pre-employment screening: Completion of a pre-employment drug screen, extensive personal investigation, or fingerprinting to fulfill organization and security requirements.
  • Ability to work in the U.S.: Ability to work in the U.S. and obtain any necessary visas or work permits.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Saber or other Traveler Service System experience: Working knowledge of Saber or other Traveler Service Systems.
  • Previous customer service experience: Previous customer service experience, particularly in a high-speed environment.
  • Certifications or training: Certifications or training in customer service, conflict resolution, or related fields.
