As a Data Entry Technician, you will be an integral part of our Customs Brokerage team, working closely with our experienced professionals to ensure accurate and timely data entry, compliance with regulations, and exceptional customer service.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Entry Technician to join our Customs Brokerage team on a part-time basis (15-20 hours per week). As a Data Entry Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely data entry into our operating system, understanding and identifying customs documentation, and providing excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities

* Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operating system

  • Understand and identify customs documentation
  • Transpose customs declaration information from documents into the customs entry system to allow for the build of a valid customs declaration
  • Verify documents received for Import customs purposes are compliant and correct
  • Provide excellent customer service building and maintaining strong relationships both internally and externally
  • Ensure compliance at all times to regulations
  • Daily execution of workflow and department metrics

Essential Qualifications

* Associates or Bachelors Degree

  • Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, and communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills are critical
  • Proficient computer skills, including solid data entry with a high accuracy rate, email, internet, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Growth mindset, eager to learn and develop your skills
  • Desire for a career in supply chain/logistics

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous experience in data entry, customs brokerage, or a related field

  • Knowledge of customs regulations and procedures
  • Experience working in a fast-paced team environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
