Job Description

As a customer service representative at blithequark, you'll play a vital role in supporting the non-profit organization's scholarship program. You'll be the first point of contact for families and schools seeking assistance with student inquiries, scholarship applications, and funding status. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to incoming calls in a timely and professional manner
  • Providing accurate and empathetic support to callers, addressing their concerns and resolving issues efficiently
  • Maintaining accurate records of calls, including notes and follow-up actions
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and resolution of complex issues
  • Staying up-to-date on program policies, procedures, and changes to provide informed support to callers
  • Participating in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • At least one year of customer service or call center experience
  • English proficiency and excellent communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Ability to remain empathetic, personable, and compassionate in challenging situations
  • Self-motivation, detail-orientation, and multitasking skills
  • Accurate typing and keyboard skills, with comfort using PC and internet navigation

Technical Requirements

To work from home, you'll need:

  • Wired internet connectivity with speeds of 2 Mbps upload and 10 Mbps download
  • A secure, quiet, distraction-free workspace
  • A reliable computer and necessary software
