Job Overview

As a Virtual Customer Support Agent at blithequark, you will be working from the comfort of your own home, providing top-notch customer service to our clients. You will be responsible for answering inbound phone and/or video calls and live chats over the internet, assisting individuals with customer-related support questions and issues. This is a third-party 1099 opportunity that offers flexible hours, 100% autonomy, and the ability to choose your own hours as long as you work a minimum of 40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients via phone, video calls, and live chats
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Utilize your home computer and internet connection to access our systems and provide support
  • Participate in training and certification programs to enhance your skills and knowledge
  • Work a minimum of 40 hours per week, with the flexibility to choose your own hours
  • Be available to work overtime and/or weekends if necessary

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

Essential Qualifications:

  • 6+ months of customer service and/or administrative experience (call center or phone support experience preferred)
  • A home office setting with a computer/laptop, internet connection, and headset hookups
  • High level of professionalism and phone etiquette
  • Excellent typing, communication, and computer skills
  • Ability to work overtime and/or weekends if necessary
  • Willingness to submit to a standard background check, drug test, technology check, and voice assessments

Technical Requirements:

  • CPU i5 (or equivalent), i7 recommended, No Atom, Celeron, Pentium, Opteron processors
  • Internet Download Speed 5Mbs down speed minimum
  • Internet Upload Speed 3Mbs up speed minimum
  • Network Latency Max 250 MS latency max
  • OS Win 8.1 (64bit), Win 10 (64bit)
  • RAM 4GB minimum, 8GB recommended
  • Home office setup with an ethernet cord connected to your computer
  • Desktop or laptop connected to a nearby router or wall for firewall/security purposes
