The Role
As a Classroom Teacher on Special Assignment (10 Months) at Martin Luther King Jr Elementary, you will play a critical role in supporting the academic and social-emotional growth of our students. You will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of all students
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives
- Providing support and accommodations for students with diverse learning needs
- Participating in professional development and training to enhance teaching practices

Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Possess a Bachelor's degree
- Be eligible for employment in the US and pass a criminal background check
- Hold a Preliminary or Clear California teaching credential authorizing instruction in core TK-12 curriculum
- Have completed online application, resume, and cover letter
- Provide two current professional references, including from a Supervisor
- Be able to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or commitment to weekly testing
