Job Summary

As an Experienced Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy equipment, including excavators, front-end loaders, backhoes, and skid-steer loaders, in a commercial construction environment. You will work closely with our team to ensure that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This is a full-time remote work opportunity, and you will be required to work from home with occasional on-site visits.

Key Responsibilities

* Operate a variety of heavy equipment, including excavators, front-end loaders, backhoes, and skid-steer loaders, in a commercial construction environment

• Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and operated in a safe and efficient manner
• Work closely with our team to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
• Conduct pre-shift inspections of equipment to ensure that it is in good working order
• Participate in regular safety meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on the latest safety procedures and best practices
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure that projects are completed to the highest standards
• Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance

Essential Qualifications

* Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating heavy equipment in a commercial construction environment

• Proven track record of safely and efficiently operating heavy equipment
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from job sites
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical examination
• Ability to pass a pre-employment equipment operations test onsite
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience operating a variety of heavy equipment, including excavators, front-end loaders, backhoes, and skid-steer loaders

• Certification in heavy equipment operation (e.g. OSHA, NCCER)
• Experience working in a remote or telecommuting environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
