Job Summary

As an Experienced Remote Grocery Store Clerk – Warehouse Operations and Customer Service, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including:

• Receiving and inspecting merchandise, including checking for quality and accuracy
• Unloading and staging merchandise for stocking and storage
• Operating powered pallet jacks and forklifts in accordance with OSHA and Whole Foods safety guidelines
• Labeling and organizing merchandise for efficient storage and staging
• Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
• Providing exceptional customer service to guests
• Collaborating with teams to achieve stated objectives and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

* Receive and inspect merchandise, including checking for quality and accuracy

• Unload and stage merchandise for stocking and storage, including using powered pallet jacks and forklifts
• Label and organize merchandise for efficient storage and staging
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, including adhering to OSHA and Whole Foods safety guidelines
• Provide exceptional customer service to guests, including answering questions and resolving issues

• Work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required

• Maintain accurate records and reports, including inventory and shipping documents

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required

• 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or retail environment, preferably in a grocery store or similar setting
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively with teams and provide exceptional customer service
• Ability to operate powered pallet jacks and forklifts in accordance with OSHA and Whole Foods safety guidelines
• Basic math skills and attention to detail, including the ability to accurately count and record merchandise
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
