Experienced Business Planning Principal - Cloud & IT Services Strategy Development

We're seeking an experienced Business Planning Principal to join our team at Google Cloud, where you'll play a key role in shaping the future of our business.

About the Role

As a Business Planning Principal, you'll work closely with our product, finance, and marketing/sales teams to drive business productivity, customer engagement experience, and generation strategies across Google Cloud products and customer segments. You'll be responsible for identifying opportunities to streamline specific projects and other business issues to improve customer experience and create competitive advantage.

Key Responsibilities

* Work closely with policy and product teams to drive business productivity, customer engagement experience, and generation strategies across Google Cloud products and customer segments * Collaborate with teams across product, marketing, partner strategy, pricing, finance, legal, sales operations, and business strategy teams to identify opportunities to streamline specific projects and other business issues * Communicate and influence leaders of these groups to drive business outcomes * Balance strategy, complexity, speed to market, scalability, and financial impact of initiatives * Develop and implement business plans that drive growth and innovation * Analyze business cases to support non-standard procedures and products * Create, monitor, and review approved product usage rights/restrictions for AI products across products and business groups * Ensure ongoing review of new product use rights and OH&S, including additions, modifications, or deletions * Support the design of product usage patterns during the launch process and contribute to the core business planning process to evaluate goals for non-standard processes * Review and expand the business process structure and review beyond the product process to include legal/non-legal processes and support broader business issues

Qualifications

* MBA or Master's Degree in Management, Science, Technology, or Engineering, or relevant experience * 4 years of experience in business planning, strategic consulting, marketing strategy, or similar fields * 3 years of experience in the field of cloud/IT services * Knowledge of cloud/IT infrastructure technology * Ability to work with seniors in product, finance, and marketing/sales * Ability to work in the product/sales department on initiatives related to technology business generation and marketing * Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
