As a Full Stack Software Engineer at Delta Airlines, you will play a critical role in the development and maintenance of our web and cloud-based applications. Your expertise in Full Stack development will enable you to work on a wide range of projects, from front-end user interfaces to back-end server-side logic, and everything in between.Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of web and cloud-based applications using a variety of programming languages, frameworks, and technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and quality assurance, to ensure that software solutions meet business requirements and user needs.
- Design and develop scalable, secure, and efficient software architectures that meet the evolving needs of our business.
- Develop and maintain high-quality code, following industry best practices and coding standards.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure that software solutions meet quality and reliability standards.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, trends, and industry developments, and apply this knowledge to improve our software solutions.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including technical and non-technical team members, to ensure that software solutions meet business requirements and user needs.
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in Full Stack software development, with a strong background in web and cloud-based applications.
- Proficiency in a variety of programming languages, including JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and Java or Python.
- Experience with front-end frameworks such as React or Angular, and back-end frameworks such as Node.js or Django.
- Knowledge of cloud-based platforms, including AWS or Azure.
- Strong understanding of software design patterns, architecture, and development methodologies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience with DevOps tools and practices, including continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).
- Knowledge of agile development methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban.
- Experience with cloud-based databases, including NoSQL or relational databases.
- Strong understanding of security principles and best practices, including authentication and authorization.
- Experience with testing frameworks and tools, including unit testing and integration testing.
