We are now seeking an experienced and skilled Data and Reporting Assistant to join our team, working remotely from anywhere in the US or Puerto Rico.

Job Overview and Responsibilities

The Data and Reporting Assistant 2 is a critical role that generates reports and regular datasets or report information for end-users, using system tools and database or data warehouse queries and scripts. The successful candidate will perform basic administrative, clerical, operational, and computational tasks, working on routine and patterned assignments. Key responsibilities include:

  • Integrating data from multiple sources to produce requested or required data elements
  • Programming and maintaining report forms and formats, information formats, data generators, canned reports, and other end-user information portals or resources
  • Creating specifications for reports based on business requests
  • Working on system and equipment requests for all new associates
  • Assisting in running departmental reports, including some Work-Force assignments
  • Collaborating closely with our IT department to ensure seamless data analysis and reporting

Essential Qualifications and Skills

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma, GED, or job-related certification
  • 1 or more years of experience working with data (extraction, analysis, and/or reporting)
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail
  • A passion for contributing to an organization that improves consumer experience
  • Ability to travel up to 5% for training and meetings, as required

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

While not essential, the following qualifications and skills are preferred:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
  • Advanced Excel expertise, including knowledge of Macros, Pivot Tables, V- and H-Lookups
  • Experience with data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence tools
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Work at Home Requirements

To work from home, you will need:

  • A high-speed DSL or cable modem for a home office
  • A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information
  • A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25x10 (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload)
  • Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role

COVID Vaccination Policy

For this job, associates are required to be fully COVID vaccinated, including booster, or undergo weekly COVID testing and wear a face covering while at work. The weekly testing will need to be done through an approved Humana vendor, and unvaccinated associates should follow all social distancing and masking protocols if they are required to come into a Humana facility or work outside of their home.
