Job Summary

As a Full Stack Call Center/Medical Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and customer service through our remote call center. You will be the first point of contact for patients, answering calls, and providing information and support as needed. You will also be responsible for documenting call information, assisting patients with appointments, and leaving messages for physicians. This is a part-time position, working 30-32.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8am to 5pm EST.

Responsibilities

* Screen and route patient calls in a timely and efficient manner

  • Assist patients with appointments, answering questions and providing information as needed
  • Document call information accurately and thoroughly
  • Leave messages for physicians as needed
  • Provide exceptional customer service and patient care through our remote call center
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment with heavy inbound phone volume
  • Utilize multiple windows on computer to manage calls and patient information
  • Maintain a quiet and distraction-free work environment

Ideal Candidate

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual with a strong background in medical terminology and experience working in a call center environment. The ideal candidate will have:

  • 2+ years of experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar role
  • Bilingual (Spanish) a plus, but not required
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Comprehensive knowledge of medical terminology
  • Ability to work with heavy inbound phone volume
  • Excellent verbal, grammar, and spelling skills
  • Ability to work in multiple windows on computer
  • Designated work computer with 2 screens
  • High-speed internet (no satellite)
  • Quiet environment required
  • EMR experience a plus
  • Windows 10 computer
  • Good phone presence required

Compensation and Benefits
