Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated, customer-focused individual to join our remote team as an Inbound Energy Customer Care Specialist. As a key point of contact for our customers, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service, resolving issues, and promoting our energy solutions. Responsibilities

As an Inbound Energy Customer Care Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Answering phone calls from customers in a professional, courteous manner, and responding to their inquiries and complaints in a timely and effective manner.
  • Focusing on customer retention through proactive communication, issue resolution, and personalized support.
  • Providing customers with clear explanations of our service standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Identifying and escalating priority issues to high-level management, ensuring timely resolution and minimizing customer dissatisfaction.
  • Routing inbound calls to the most suitable resources, ensuring efficient issue resolution and minimizing wait times.
  • Following up on complicated customer calls, providing additional support and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Completing call notes and call reports as necessary, updating them in our CRM system to maintain accurate records.
  • Obtaining and evaluating relevant data to properly handle and document complaints and inquiries.
  • Recording details of comments, inquiries, complaints, and actions taken, maintaining a comprehensive understanding of customer needs and preferences.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by management, contributing to the overall success of the team.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Bilingual skills (a plus)
  • Some sales and customer service experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Excellent communication skills, including verbal and written communication, with proper grammar and punctuation
  • Excellent computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Some experience with MS Excel (a plus)
  • The ability to react effectively and calmly in escalated situations, maintaining a professional demeanor under pressure
