Webmaster III
Position SummaryThe Webmaster III is responsible for maintaining and managing Nightingale Education Group’s website assets and hosting servers. They ensure the functionality, security, and efficiency of web infrastructure while optimizing loading speeds, fixing issues, and updating website content. A Webmaster III builds, maintains, and troubleshoots websites, tests their compatibility across different platforms, and monitors online traffic and performance. They configure and manage web servers, implement security measures, and advise on search engine optimization (SEO) to enhance website visibility. This position also address user complaints, collaborate with function leaders on page updates, and stays updated on web standards and technologies to deliver proper functionality and user-friendly web experiences, representative of the Nightingale Experience. They supervise any A-B testing and manage the website change/update process. **This is a fully remote position.Essential Function And Responsibilities
- Ensure online messaging is accurate and up-to-date
- Manage the website update/change request process
- Testing websites across browsers, operating systems, and devices
- Monitoring online traffic and conversions
- Ensuring functionality and efficiency of sites and web servers
- Build functional and easy-to-use websites
- Test websites across browsers, operating systems, and devices
- Maintain, configure, and troubleshoot hosting servers
- Ensure site security by setting up firewalls and login pages
- Optimize loading speeds and capacity
- Debug pages and fix broken links or images
- Update website content and review SEO
- Monitor and analyze site performance (e.g., traffic, conversions)
- Manage all web forms and their interface with other systems and vendors
- Address user complaints
- Use established branding and creative guidelines to ensure the website(s) remain on brand
- Proven experience as a Webmaster or Web Developer.
- Knowledge of web analytics and SEO.
- Familiarity with web standards.
- Working knowledge of website management tools.
- Proficient in HTML/CSS, XML; knowledge of SQL and JavaScript is preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to generate creative ideas.
- Attention to detail and outstanding organizational skills.
- BS/BA in Computer Science, Web Design, Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
