As an adjunct faculty member in our School of Education, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of our programs and help shape the next generation of educators.

Key Responsibilities

As an Experienced Adjunct Faculty - Remote - School of Education, you will be responsible for:

• Teaching online courses in your area of expertise, using our learning management system, Blackboard
• Developing and delivering high-quality course materials, including syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments
• Engaging with students through online discussions, email, and phone or video conferencing
• Evaluating student learning and providing feedback to students
• Participating in faculty development opportunities to enhance your teaching skills and stay current in your field
• Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement new programs and initiatives
• Contributing to the development of our School of Education's strategic plan and goals

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• A graduate degree in your discipline
• A minimum of 2 years' experience teaching adult learners online and in higher education
• The ability to create and maintain an environment that emphasizes learning and encourages free discussion of ideas and critical thinking
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and administrators
• Experience with online teaching platforms, including Blackboard
• A strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, with the ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

• Online teaching experience
• Experience with teaching adult learners
• Familiarity with competency-based education and self-paced online learning
• Experience with curriculum development and program evaluation
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and manage teams

• A competitive salary, ranging from $3348 to $3748 per course, depending on your course assignment
