The Opportunity

We're seeking a proactive, tech-savvy Sales Account Executive to join our team and play a pivotal part in expanding our presence in the Pharmaceutical/Biotech sector. As a quota-carrying sales position, this role provides a dynamic and challenging environment where you'll have the autonomy to make a meaningful impact on our growth story. Our ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a desire to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment.

Key Responsibilities

As a Sales Account Executive at LARVOL, you'll be responsible for:

  • Proactively seeking and acquiring new clients, surpassing assigned sales targets
  • Conducting demo calls and overseeing the entire sales cycle for accounts within your territory
  • Sourcing and cultivating new business prospects through various channels, including inbound marketing leads, prospect lists, discovery, and independent research, both within and outside the existing customer network
  • Responding promptly to client inquiries and ensuring effective communication internally and externally
  • Nurturing existing accounts in your territory, actively pursuing renewal and upsell opportunities
  • Utilizing our CRM platform (Salesforce) and other tools to meticulously track, analyze, and report on the quantity, quality, source, and outcomes of all opportunities
  • Collaborating with our marketing team to design impactful campaigns tailored to the specific needs of potential prospects
  • Cultivating enduring relationships with prospects and customers, ensuring a strong and ongoing connection
  • Skillfully negotiating contracts and finalizing agreements to optimize profitability
  • Representing LARVOL at industry conferences

Our Ideal Candidate

We're looking for a sales professional with:

  • 3-5 years of experience in business-to-business sales, within the SaaS, Pharma, or Life Sciences sectors
  • Demonstrated success in consistently meeting and surpassing sales targets
  • A Hunter mentality, displaying a sense of urgency and a track record of acquiring new logos
  • Ability to work independently, effectively managing the entire sales process
  • A strong work ethic, entrepreneurial spirit, and desire to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment
  • Client service-focused mindset with evident follow-through skills
  • Adaptable to change, able to make independent decisions when faced with competing priorities
  • Healthcare sales / Pharmaceutical sales and/or Life sciences background is a must
