About the Role

We're currently seeking a Customer Care Agent to work a 4-day weekend shift, providing top-notch support to our customers via phone, chat, and email. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for resolving customer inquiries, addressing concerns, and creating raving fans for blithequark. Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, chat, and email in a timely and professional manner
  • Resolve customer complaints and concerns in a fair and courteous manner
  • Provide product information and recommendations to customers
  • Process orders, returns, and exchanges as needed
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and improve overall customer experience
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics, including customer satisfaction, first call resolution, and average handling time

Essential Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a call center or retail environment
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work a 4-day weekend shift, including Saturdays and Sundays
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and customer relationship management (CRM) software

Preferred Qualifications:

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Experience working in a remote or hybrid environment
  • Knowledge of the lighting industry or related field
  • Bi-lingual or multi-lingual skills
  • Experience with live chat or email support
  • Certification in customer service or a related field

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package, including:

  • $17.00 per hour, with a $1 per hour increase after 60 days
  • 2 weeks paid time off per year
