As a Field Service Technician I, you will play a crucial role in delivering outstanding service to our customers, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty to our brand.

Job Overview

In this exciting and rewarding role, you will be responsible for completing field service-related tasks, including warranty-related work on MITER products, ordering and picking up service parts, and receiving order acknowledgments. You will work closely with our team to ensure that all safety policies and procedures are adhered to, including wearing required Personal Protective Equipment. Your excellent communication skills will be essential in calling Service Contacts to set up appointments and communicate directly with customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete field service-related tasks, including warranty-related work on MITER products
  • Order and pick up service parts, and receive order acknowledgments
  • Adhere to all facets of safety policies and procedures, including wearing required Personal Protective Equipment
  • Call Service Contacts to set up appointments and communicate directly with customers
  • Develop knowledge of MITER Brands products and learn how to troubleshoot common issues
  • Able to lift 50 lbs. daily and climb up a ladder up to 40 ft.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty to our brand

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong and diverse skillset, including:

  • High School education
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Customer Service experience and ability
  • Ability to drive and operate a company vehicle, including maintenance
  • Service-related work experience with windows and doors, or at least experience with windows and doors
  • Willingness to travel during the week
  • Computer skills and Microsoft Office proficiency
  • 3-5 years of experience in warranty-related work concerning windows and doors is desired
  • Knowledge of MITER Brands products is an asset
  • 3-5 years of customer service experience is preferred
  • Detailed and organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
