About the Role

As a Client Experience Expert, you will be responsible for delivering top-notch customer support through various communication channels, including phone, email, and in-person interactions. Your primary goal will be to address customer inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and professionally, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service through multiple channels, including phone, email, and in-person interactions
  • Address customer requests, concerns, and issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Help clients with order tracking, product information, and general inquiries
  • Assist clients with checkout processes, in-store pickup, and truck recovery from the parking area
  • Foster a deep understanding of Wayfair's product catalog to effectively assist clients in their product selection
  • Stay up-to-date on new product releases, features, and specifications
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues by collaborating with various departments, such as operations or product teams, to ensure timely and satisfactory resolutions
  • Manage order processing, cancellations, returns, and fulfillment cycles, as well as trades and exchanges
  • Communicate effectively with clients, providing clear and concise information, and keeping them informed about the status of their orders and any expected delays
  • Gather customer feedback to identify areas for improvement in products, services, or processes, and share insights with relevant teams to contribute to continuous improvement
  • Ensure adherence to Wayfair's policies and procedures while assisting clients, and stay current with any changes in company policies
  • Utilize various customer service tools, software, and systems to manage customer interactions efficiently
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as marketing, sales, and product teams, to ensure a seamless client experience

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • At least 1 year of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in retail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and internal teams
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple customer requests simultaneously
  • Proficiency in using customer service software, tools, and systems
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to accurately process orders and manage customer interactions

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in retail
  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
  • Knowledge of Wayfair's products and services
  • Experience with customer service software, such as CRM systems or helpdesk tools
  • Certifications or training in customer service, such as customer service certifications or conflict resolution training
