The Role

As a Virtual Tutor with Teachers On Demand, INC., you'll have the opportunity to inspire students to reach their full potential by delivering engaging, one-on-one virtual instruction tailored to individual learning needs. Whether it's helping a student conquer challenging subjects or achieve success in advanced coursework, your expertise will make a direct and lasting impact.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide high-quality, interactive virtual tutoring sessions aligned with state standards

• Support students in general education subjects (Math, Science, English, Social Studies) as well as AP, IB, and foreign language courses
• Assess learning gaps, track progress, and create customized strategies to improve student performance
• Foster a supportive and engaging virtual learning environment that builds confidence and academic success
• Utilize virtual tools and platforms to connect with students effectively

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need to bring the following qualifications and skills:

• Current and valid Tennessee State Teaching Certification (required)
• Bachelor's degree in Education or related subject (Master's preferred)
• Experience teaching or tutoring in grades 3-12, including AP, IB, or foreign language instruction
• Proficiency with virtual learning platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
• A commitment to student success, strong communication skills, and a positive attitude
• Tools Needed: Computer, phone, internet access, and quiet work environment
