Our RI distribution Team has an immediate need for a Warehouse Associate. Forklift Experience is a big plus! Immediate opening for a Warehouse Associate is available right now. Start as soon as 7 days. We are looking for committed, experienced people to join our warehouse team. You will receive, input, sort, load and unload products and you will perform various warehouse activities. Responsibilities
- Welcome delivery trucks
- Receive and track shipments
- Tag and label merchandise
- Box, wrap and pack merchandise in accordance with procedures and policies
- Prepare orders for shipment
- Record and manage all impaired or damaged merchandise items
- Enter data in inventory and logistics software programs
- Process, package, and ship orders accurately
- Organize stocks and maintain inventory
- Inspect products for defects and damages
- QC incoming and outgoing shipments
- Organize warehouse space
- Receive, unload, and stock incoming inventory
- Check, verify, and fill customer orders
- Abide by all company safety and health policies and procedures
- Keep warehouse clean and organized daily
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned
- Valid Driver's License
- Proven warehouse experience
- Ability to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment
- Adequate knowledge of warehouse data system
- Team player with organizational skills
- Ability to lift or move 50 lb. products
- Good communication skills
- Problem solver
