Oh, and of course get lots of puppy and kitty kisses! And someone who is ALWAYS happy to see you! Well, do I have the BEST job for you! Paws & Claws Pet Sitting Services is a fun and fast growing company with a location in Cave Creek, Arizona and Litchfield, Connecticut. We are looking for someone who can care for our clients' pets Monday through Friday starting at 7am until about 3pm. We are also in need of evening and weekend help! Earn up to $500-1,000 per month! Paid on a per job basis. The more you work the more you make! The job is simple, you care for our clients’ pets based on their needs and communicate with the owners from an app on your own smartphone. Your responsibilities as a pet sitter include but are not limited to:
- Driving to our client's home based on your schedule for that day
- Walking dogs and properly disposing of waste
- Feeding the pets (includes administering medications when needed)
- Collecting the mail and watering plants
- Taking the trash out
- Scooping out litter boxes
- Refreshing water bowls
- Play time and snuggles
- Sending out visit reports with pictures to the owners via our pet sitting app
- Safely securing the home as you enter and leave
- Going above and beyond for each pet as if they were your own
- Helping manage or clients' profile
- Participating in our companies Instagram take over and posting pictures and videos of yourself taking care of clients’ pets
- Ongoing training
- Team collaboration
You can even listen to your favorite podcast, audio book or music while you do it (as long as your volume isn’t too loud of course! My personal FAV is Crime Junkies! ) You will feel appreciated, loved, and most of all make SUCH A DIFFERENCE in our client’s and their four legged loved ones lives. Ok, so here is the legal stuff I need to put in the ad. Our ideal sitters must:
- Be an US citizen, or be legally authorized to work in the US for at least the next 12 months
- Be a full-time resident of the town listed
- Be at least 18+ years of age
- Obtain a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle
- Understand you will place mileage on your vehicle
- Be able to communicate in English, orally and written
- Be able to commit to this position for 6 months from date of hire
- Be willing to work a flexible schedule, including holidays and weekends
- Be willing to walk dogs in all kinds of weather, including rain and snow
- Be physically able to sit, climb stairs, bend down, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs
- Pass a background check
- Own a signal-enabled smartphone with a working camera at all times (even with no available wifi) and is reachable through our company apps, calls, text, and voicemail
- Adhere to our smoke-free work environment commitment
- Ability to work outside in both high and low temperatures (summer, rain, snow)
- Licenses or previous pet sitting experience is a plus
- Sales abilities are a plus
- Participating in our companies Instagram take over and posting pictures and videos of yourself taking care of clients’ pets
- Complete ongoing training
- Have excellent communication and work as a team!
