Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
* Handling incoming phone calls and providing expert guidance to customers
* Researching customer information using various systems, policies, regulations, and reference materials
* Elevating sensitive customer requests when necessary
* Complying with State and Federal regulations and mandates
* Staying current on knowledge of diverse products and proactively recommending items needed by customers
* Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must have:
* High School Diploma or Equivalent and three years of experience in a complaint-type customer service office setting (health insurance or related field preferred)
* Availability for training 9-12 weeks in length
* Reliable internet service provider and a dedicated, distraction-free workspace
Preferred Qualifications
* Basic medical/dental terminology and contract interpretation is a plus
* Experience in a dynamic environment with a focus on customer service
Training and Support
* 9-12 weeks of live virtual training: 8:00am - 4:30pm (Central Time Zone) Monday to Friday
* Ongoing training and support to help you grow and develop in your role
* Access to various systems, policies, regulations, and reference materials to help you provide expert guidance to customers
Work Schedule
* Work from home in the comfort of your own space
* Must be able to work any 8.5 hour shift between 7:30am-6:00pm (Central Time Zone) Monday to Friday
Compensation and Benefits
* $39,520 annually + plus benefits package (Health Benefits effective 1st of the month following start date)
