Job Summary
We're seeking highly skilled and motivated Chat Operators to join our team and represent our automotive dealer clients favorably in online conversations. As a Chat Operator, you'll be responsible for:
- Engaging in online conversations with customers, responding to their inquiries, and providing exceptional customer service
- Creating a wow-ing experience for customers, turning conversations into leads, and driving revenue for our clients
- Utilizing your gaming experience to make extra income and contribute to the success of our team
- Collaborating with our team of professionals to achieve our goals and objectives
- Participating in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices
Key Responsibilities
* Engage in online conversations with customers, responding to their inquiries and providing exceptional customer service
- Create a wow-ing experience for customers, turning conversations into leads, and driving revenue for our clients
- Utilize your gaming experience to make extra income and contribute to the success of our team
- Collaborate with our team of professionals to achieve our goals and objectives
- Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices
- Meet or exceed performance metrics, including response time, resolution rate, and customer satisfaction
- Work independently in a remote setting, with minimal supervision and guidance
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive customer information with discretion
Requirements
* Must live within the state of Idaho
- Must have your own computer or laptop with a webcam, second monitor, microphone, and external mouse
- Computer must have a minimum of 8 GB of RAM, 64-bit Operating System, and 8th Generation Intel Core (3 equivalent or higher)
- Quiet, dedicated work space free from distractions – this is a remote position
- Able to attend 4 weeks of remote training, Tuesday – Saturday between the hours of 11am-7:30pm EDT
- Must be able to type at least 35 WPM, 40 and above is preferred
- Gaming experience is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive customer information with discretion
Essential Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g. communications, marketing, business) preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in customer service, sales, or a related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive customer information with discretion
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in the automotive industry or a related field
- Gaming experience, with a strong understanding of online gaming communities and platforms
- Strong typing skills, with the ability to type at least 40 WPM
- Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software and other related tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
