Key Responsibilities:
As a Remote Health Care Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:
- Handling telehealth-based phone calls and email inquiries from customers, providing solutions to complex problems and delivering exceptional customer service
- Managing a steady volume of incoming calls while navigating multiple systems, including real-time support during time-sensitive situations
- Providing accurate and timely information to customers, including insurance verifications, benefits education, billing questions, prescription issues, and technical challenges
- Collaborating with internal teams to resolve customer issues and escalate complex problems as needed
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation of customer interactions, including call logs and email correspondence
Essential Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- High school diploma, GED, or college degree
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to type 40 words per minute with 96% accuracy
- Great problem-solving skills and ability to effectively multi-task
- High-speed internet and a distraction-free work environment
- Ability to work weekends and flexible hours, including evenings and holidays
- Equipment provided, including a computer and headset, and must be hard-wired (no Wi-Fi)
Preferred Qualifications:
While not required, we prefer candidates with:
- Customer service experience, particularly in a healthcare setting
- Experience working in a call center or similar environment
- Knowledge of healthcare-related terminology and concepts
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
