We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Care Customer Service Representative to join our Sleep Central After-Hours Call Center team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for contacting patients regarding equipment delivery, taking orders, verifying patient information, and ensuring timely order processing. This is a unique opportunity to work from home and make a positive impact on patients' lives.

Overview and Responsibilities

Summary

We are looking for a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Patient Care Customer Service Representative. In this role, you will work from home, contacting patients, taking orders, and providing exceptional customer service. This position requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately transcribe patient profiles over the telephone, including data entry and possible outbound calling
  • Obtain medically necessary documentation and process patient orders through our online pharmacy system
  • Resolve tracking issues and reschedule shipping orders for patients as needed
  • Troubleshoot problems based on patient input and verify orders are complete
  • Perform other duties as assigned to ensure seamless operations

Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Experience in the medical field and administrative record management preferred
  • Strong customer service background with excellent communication skills

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

  • Effectively communicate in English, both orally and in writing
  • Helpful, knowledgeable, and polite with a positive attitude
  • Interpret various communications, including verbal, non-verbal, written, listening, and visual
  • Maintain confidentiality and practice discretion when handling sensitive information
  • Knowledge of medical terminology an asset
  • Multi-tasking and attention to detail with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to accurately perform simple mathematical calculations
  • Self-motivation, time-management, and deductive problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Work Environment and Benefits

Work Environment

  • 100% remote work-from-home opportunity
  • Must live in the US and within 60 miles of any Blithequark location
  • Schedule: Five days a week, including every Saturday and Sunday, with three evening shifts during weekdays starting at or after 4:00 pm Central time
