Job Overview

We are seeking passionate and experienced Part-Time Clinical Nursing Faculty to join our team at the Tysons Corner, VA campus. As a Clinical Nursing Faculty member, you will have the opportunity to develop your nurse educator experience and contribute to the education and growth of our BSN nursing students. Key Responsibilities

• Implement the College's philosophy, curriculum, program outcomes, and course objectives through clinical teaching and service to the College, community, health system, and profession
• Assume responsibility for all autonomous aspects of individual teaching assignments and plan clinical experiences for nursing students
• Provide direct supervision and evaluation of nursing students delivering nursing care to individuals or groups
• Evaluate and provide documented feedback to students on their level of performance based on course objectives
• Orient and maintain current knowledge related to agency/clinical policies, procedures, and expectations with the assistance of agency/clinical personnel
• Develop and post written clinical assignments consistent with students' knowledge base, skill competency, and individual learning needs
• Grade homework, quizzes, tests, lab assignments, clinical paperwork, and other written work in a timely manner

Essential Qualifications

• A master's (MSN) or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university
• An unencumbered professional nursing license in Virginia or NLC Compact state
• At least two years of professional experience within the last five years in the area of instruction as a registered nurse
• Genuine passion for nursing, education, and lifelong learning
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

The expected compensation rate for this position is between $1,120 per assignment to $7,245 per assignment. Actual pay may be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law.
