About the Role:

We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Security Sales Specialist to join our team as a Cloud Security and Compliance Transformation Expert. As a key member of our Google Cloud team, you'll inspire leading businesses, schools, and government agencies to work smarter with Google tools like Google Workspace, Search, and Chrome. Your guiding light will be to do what's right for the customer, meeting them exactly where they are and delivering the best solutions for innovation.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with customers and public sector partners as Google's most trusted security and compliance advisor, identifying pain points related to the design, development, and implementation of cloud security and compliance from the perspective of customers and bringing teams together to work on solutions.
  • Work with customers and partners to define joint initiatives and co-create their cloud security and compliance transformation journey, collaborating across functional and product areas to bring the best of Google to the customer.
  • Drive Google's security and compliance innovation and help translate it into actionable steps that global enterprises can take to adopt.
  • Act as a mentor and leader to the broader Google Cloud security and compliance professionals.
  • Create security campaigns, programs, and solutions of value and volume.

Requirements:

Essential Qualifications:

  • 3 years of sales experience to education, state, and local government, selling cybersecurity solutions in the public or private sector.
  • 2 years of experience in cyber security, cloud security, security architecture, incident response, security operations, or security governance.
  • Ability to cycle up to 80% of the time as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience applying technology to solve business problems.
  • Deep understanding of the public sector cybersecurity landscape.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across organizational boundaries, build relationships, and manage talent and ideas to achieve a larger organizational goal.
  • Ability to quickly learn, understand, and work with emerging new technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the cloud/IT/security technology space.
  • Ability to deliver professional and technical presentations at C-suite and board level, with excellent presentation skills.
  • Advisory skills, including the ability to work to tight deadlines and provide team support.

To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess a unique blend of technical, business, and interpersonal skills. You'll be an expert in cloud security and compliance, with a deep understanding of the public sector cybersecurity landscape. You'll be able to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and build strong relationships with customers and partners. You'll be a strategic thinker, able to drive innovation and translate it into actionable steps that global enterprises can take to adopt.
