- *The Opportunity**
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Product Manager to lead the development of our data platform and drive the next generation of data experiences at blithequark. As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for defining and executing the product vision and strategy for our data platform, including data warehousing, data governance, data science, and business intelligence. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, data science, and business stakeholders, to deliver high-quality products that meet the needs of our users.
- *Key Responsibilities**
• Define and execute the product vision and strategy for our data platform, including data warehousing, data governance, data science, and business intelligence
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our users' needs, including data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, data science, and business stakeholders, to deliver high-quality products that meet the needs of our users
- Foster a data-driven culture that supports quality experimentation and sets high standards for measuring product success
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements, and lead strategic discussions to inform product decisions
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our data platform, including data architecture, data governance, and data security
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design and develop data platform features and capabilities
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our business needs, including revenue growth, customer acquisition, and retention
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to develop and execute business strategies that leverage our data platform
- *What We're Looking For**
• 8+ years of experience as a Product Manager with at least 3+ years of experience in data platform development, data science, or machine learning
- Proven track record of managing and developing an product portfolio or driving product vision and strategy
- Strong mix of technical depth and domain expertise with a customer-centric mindset
- Experience with at least one of the following technologies: Process engines (Flash, Trino), ETL platforms, Jupyter Notebook and BI tools
- Key thought leader who can connect user needs to technology solutions and think holistically about the end-to-end experience
- Ability to manage a portfolio of larger and smaller bets while balancing short-term objectives and long-term vision
- Comfortable applying a mix of qualitative and quantitative techniques to define success
- Use product intuition and judgment to solve problems and make decisions without perfect data
- Voracious learner who stays up-to-date with industry trends and advancements and continually asks "why"
- Excellent communication skills; timely communication with clear expectations
