Job Summary As an Experienced Customer Service Representative and Interviewer, you will be responsible for supporting the Telemed team by ensuring that all incoming work is assigned and completed within the same day. You will also be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients, handling complaints as needed, and promoting professionalism and confidentiality agreements. Additionally, you may be asked to act as a mentor for your teammates, providing training and assisting with special projects. Key Responsibilities * Interviews: Conduct interviews with clients applying for insurance, obtaining health history and personal information, and promoting professionalism and confidentiality agreements. * Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to our clients, supporting the mission statement to develop, enhance, and promote quality customer service through team efforts. * Training & Development: Attend and participate in development programs, maintain certification where applicable, and continue to improve skills. * Cross-training: Cross-train to other positions as directed and train teammates on new tasks, mentor new employees, and answer questions on process and system functionality. * Professional Image: Exhibit a professional demeanor at all times while representing blithequark. * Goals & Objectives: Set goals and objectives for professional growth, review and revise these on an ongoing basis, and give input and support management/practice decisions. Essential Qualifications * High School diploma or equivalent * Good organizational skills * Effective communication skills * Critical thinking * Ability to work compatibly as a team member with co-workers * Ability to logically think and determine the next step to pursue Preferred Qualifications * 6 months of customer service experience * Knowledge of medical terminology Working Conditions * Part-Time: 25-29 hours per week * Physical requirements: Ability to sit for extended periods, lift up to 10 lbs, and utilize computer, monitor, and keyboard for assigned shift.
