Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Service Agent to join our team on a full-time remote basis. As a Customer Service Agent, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional support to our customers, resolving their queries, and ensuring that they have a seamless travel experience. Key Responsibilities

  • Issue, reissue, and refund passenger tickets in a timely and efficient manner
  • Book, price, and confirm flight reservations, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
  • Rebook passengers on oversold flights and during abnormal operations, providing clear explanations and solutions
  • Perform passenger check-in and seat assignment, rectifying oversold seat assignments and troubleshooting upgrades
  • Issue vouchers and coordinate with contractors for passenger hotel stays, food, and transportation
  • Operate gate readers/scanners and related equipment, including pre-boarding, monitoring/checking carry-on bags, and verifying row criteria
  • Make boarding and departure gate announcements, ensuring clear and concise communication
  • Deliver domestic and global flight files, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
  • Perform customer support during training, providing exceptional service and resolving queries
  • Process and complete credit card bag transactions at kiosks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
  • Assist passengers with self-service kiosk check-in and kiosk bag processing, providing clear guidance and support
  • Queue lines at ticket counter kiosks and ticket counters, ensuring efficient and smooth operations
  • Clear/confirm global files at kiosks, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
  • Accept and activate passengers' self-tagged luggage at activation stations, ensuring efficient and smooth operations
  • Assist clients needing special assistance or in-station support, providing exceptional service and resolving queries
  • Perform customer support work related to handling local flights and contractor/ground handling agreements or contracts
  • Have regular and predictable attendance on site, including meeting any mandatory overtime requirements
  • Respond and assist during safety and/or emergency situations, ensuring a safe and secure environment
  • Provide connecting passengers with gate information, ensuring clear and concise communication
  • Adhere to agency policies, procedures, and performance standards, maintaining a high level of professionalism and integrity

Essential Qualifications

  • High school degree or GED or international equivalent
  • Bilingual language skills required in some locations
  • Applicable valid driver's license as required by local authorities
  • Must satisfy FAA background checks to qualify for unescorted admission to privileges to airport security identity display areas (SIDA), if applicable
  • Must be able to secure suitable airport authority and/or US Customs security badges, if applicable
  • Completion of a pre-employment drug screen, complete background check, and/or fingerprinting to meet agency and security requirements
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of Sabre or another Passenger Service System
  • Previous face-to-face customer service experience
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
