About the Role

As a Data Analyst at blithequark, you'll be an integral part of our Advanced Analytics and Content team, applying your analytical expertise to optimize our content portfolio, marketing strategies, and release tactics. You'll work closely with our content team to analyze client behavior, predict content engagement, and identify untapped opportunities. Key Responsibilities

• Apply advanced analytics techniques, including data mining, data visualization, statistical analysis, and machine learning, to large-scale, high-dimensional data to inform business decisions.
• Analyze client behavior, such as type preferences and viewing patterns, to identify unmet client needs and untapped content opportunities.
• Predict content engagement to guide acquisition decisions and optimize content launch and episode release strategies.
• Test marketing strategies to streamline engagement and retention.
• Ideate and develop new metrics and KPIs to measure content performance for both tactical and strategic decision-making.
• Provide ad-hoc analysis support to stakeholders to help drive the business forward.
• Effectively communicate significant results through compelling data storytelling across the organization.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• A Bachelor's degree in Math, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in data analysis.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with R and/or Python.
• Experience with statistical analysis and machine learning techniques, such as decision trees, regression, clustering, etc.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and apply creativity in solving unstructured problems.
• Exceptional data storytelling skills through verbal, written, and visual communication.
