Social Media Content Creator

Are you passionate about social media, skilled in design and video editing, and eager to create content that makes an impact? Advantage xPO is looking for a Social Media Content Creator who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and knows how to craft content that connects with diverse audiences. Pay: $27-$28 per hour Remote (Greater Chicago Metro Area) In this role, you’ll be responsible for producing engaging, platform-native content—primarily static graphics and some short-form video—for popular channels like Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook. You’ll also support light community management tasks, ensuring consistent and authentic brand messaging across platforms.

Responsibilities

• Create eye-catching, engaging content tailored for each platform
• Design static graphics and edit short-form videos using brand guidelines and social trends
• Work closely with internal teams and external partners to align content with brand strategy
• Stay up to date with social media trends, platform updates, and new formats
• Assist in developing content toolkits, templates, and creative briefs
• Monitor and engage with followers using social media management tools (e.g., Sprinklr)
• Respond to comments and direct messages in a timely, brand-appropriate voice
• Alert internal teams to emerging trends, issues, or engagement opportunities

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of experience in social media content creation
• Strong skills in design and short-form video editing (Adobe, Canva, CapCut, etc.)
• Portfolio of creative work required
• Solid grasp of social media trends, platforms, and best practices
• Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills
• Experience with tools like Sprinklr preferred
• Bachelor's degree preferred; Spanish bilingual is a plus
• Must be based in the Greater Chicago area with reliable internet
• Flexible for occasional evenings/weekends and up to 25% travel
