Job Summary

As a Data Scientist at blithequark, you will be responsible for applying advanced data science techniques to drive business growth and improve customer experiences. You will work closely with our Information Science team to design, develop, and deploy data-driven solutions that meet the needs of our business and customers. Your expertise will be critical in helping us to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform our product development, marketing strategies, and customer engagement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

* Apply science techniques to design, test, and scale effective, robust structures, frameworks, and models to improve the usability of large data and predictive applications

• Examine, develop, and test algorithms and tools to tackle data challenges and improve the quality and reliability of data
• Develop applications according to requirements; design, code, test, deploy, and maintain on existing frameworks
• Research and stay up-to-date on development methodologies
• Proactively resolve issues and barriers as they arise
• Collaborate with data scientists, application developers, product managers, and software engineers to design and deploy software for new and existing products

Essential Qualifications

* Active experience in developing and deploying predictive and machine learning models

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related quantitative field, such as Engineering, Software Engineering with a foundation in both time series and AI
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to explain complex ideas to non-technical partners in a clear and concise manner
• Experience with Amazon Web Services tools like Redshift, Snowflake, SageMaker, or other comparable platforms
• Experience in translating ambiguous client requirements into clear problem definitions and delivering them
• Experience in Python, R, PySpark, Flash, Scala, Java, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Docker
• Strong knowledge of SQL (Intermediate level)
• Strong skills in data representation, data manipulation

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in working with large datasets and developing data pipelines

• Experience in developing and deploying machine learning models using deep learning techniques
• Experience in working with cloud-based platforms and developing scalable data architectures
• Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and deploy data-driven solutions
• Experience in presenting data insights and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders
