Responsibilities

As an Online Chat Specialist at blithequark, you will be responsible for:

  • Answering incoming customer live chats regarding website navigation issues, service questions, and general client concerns with accuracy and efficiency
  • Evaluating customer interactions and escalating issues to the Online Chat Manager when necessary
  • Building relationships with new customers to better understand and meet their needs
  • Responding to customer questions, inquiries, requests, and problems in a timely and professional manner
  • Promoting interest in client products and services through effective communication and product knowledge
  • Continuously portraying and projecting a positive and professional image
  • Providing administrative support to the customer service team as needed
  • Assisting with overflow work and other duties as required

Key Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A strong work ethic with the ability to work well both independently and within a team-oriented environment
  • PC keyboarding and internet experience, with a basic understanding of computer applications
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication
  • An upbeat, positive attitude and professional demeanor
  • Articulate and well-accustomed to a client-facing role
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Basic technical skills, with the ability to navigate through smartphone and computer applications
  • An upbeat, positive, kind, and empathetic personality

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a call center or online support environment
  • Proficiency in composing professional emails
  • Familiarity with online chat software and customer support platforms
  • Experience working in a remote or virtual team environment
